Below are two views of the front of the house and the beach. The pictures are several years old. The fence to the right of the porch is no longer there, and the porch has been totally rebuilt.
Below is a view of the back of the house.
A rainbow over the water to the east of the house (taken at low tide).
The picture below is taken looking out of Ryders Cove across to the neck on which our home sits. The end of the neck is the high island at about the center of the photograph. The black arrow points to our house on the neck. The neck is low, and so you can see across it to water on the other side. One beautiful place, Maine.
Below is an aerial view of our neck at extreme low tide. Our house is hard to pick out because of its weathered gray shingle color. But the black arrow points to it. The panoramic photo at the top of the page was taken standing in the driveway looking west toward the house. The front of the house, along which the long porch/deck runs, faces northeast, which is downward in the aerial photo. The photo is taken at an extreme low tide condition. At high tide, water leaves only a few feet of sandy beach in front of the house. Our Friendship Sloop, Sazerac, is at the extreme lower edge of the photo.
Below are a series of photos of the interior of the house.
Below is a view of our Friendship Sloop, Sazerac, at her mooring. Our house can be seen in the distance to the left of Sazerac (second house to left; hard to make out). Consider chartering Sazerac, too.
The aerial view below, of the northern half of Islesboro, gives you an idea of the house's setting along the shore. Click on the photo to see a larger version on which a black dot marks the location of the house.
